School-To-Work
Schoharie County ARC's School-to-Work Day Habilitation is a "without walls" program for young adults who have transitioned out-of-school. New experiences, challenges and responsibilities increase independence and social interactions as individuals learn more about the world around them, and perhaps prepare for the world of work.
Using a person-centered approach, individualized service planning is based on a personalized assessment of each person's strength and preferences, and regular evaluation of each participant's personal, emotional social and intellectual needs. Participants desiring to further develop their abilities are offered a variety of community-based experiences and may focus on.
